How to integrate Cord into your site with a single command
The Cord CLI wizard gets your site integrated in minutes: quote builder, webhooks, your apps and your AI agents, with no API keys to copy and in test mode.

Putting Cord on your site means several things at once: showing the quote builder so your clients can put together their own proposal, getting a notification in your systems when someone approves or pays, and keeping your CRM and your team informed without anyone copying data by hand. Until now, that took an afternoon of documentation, API keys copied from a dashboard and testing in the dark.
Starting today, whoever maintains your site runs one command and the Cord wizard does that work in a few minutes.
By hand
01Open the dashboard, create a key and copy it02Paste it into a .env without committing it03Install the SDK and write the webhook route04Verify the signature of every webhook05Set up the Cord Elements proxy06Open a tunnel to receive webhooks on localhost07Connect HubSpot, Shopify or Slack in another tab08Configure the Cord MCP in each agent
With the CLI$ npx @flouviahq/cli
✓You sign in from the browser, no keys to copy✓SDK, webhook route and Elements proxy✓A test key in a .env that git ignores✓Signed webhooks reaching your localhost✓Your apps, connected from the browser✓The Cord MCP in your AI agents
What used to take eight manual steps, the wizard handles in a single session.
What the Cord CLI is
It’s Cord’s command-line tool. It installs from npm and, run with no arguments, opens a wizard that fills the terminal and guides the integration from start to finish. Before touching anything, it reads the project: it recognizes the technology your site is built with, sees which apps it uses and explains what it’s going to do.

You sign in with your account, not an API key
The first step is connecting your account. Instead of asking you to find and paste an API key, the wizard opens your browser on Cord. There you choose the organization and decide what the project key can do: read your catalog, create quotes, manage webhooks. The suggested option is the minimum the integration uses.
You authorize, Cord confirms it’s you and the terminal connects on its own. All in test mode: nothing the wizard does touches your real sales.

Your site, integrated
With your account connected, the wizard gets your project ready:
The Cord SDK, installed with the package manager your project already uses.
The route that receives Cord’s notifications (the webhooks), which verifies the signature on each one so no one can pretend to be Cord.
The bridge for the quote builder (the Cord Elements proxy), so your clients can build quotes on your site without exposing your API key.
Your test key, saved in a file that isn’t pushed to the repository.
Your setup, if you give it your website and tell it what your business does: Cord proposes your products, taxes and templates, and you approve them before they’re applied.
When it’s done, it leaves a report listing every file it created. And it never overwrites a file that already existed.
Transparent about your data
Before it starts, the wizard tells you what leaves your computer and what never does. The passwords and keys in your environment files stay on your computer.

Privacy and data
What leaves your computer+ The website, description and price list you give it, to propose your account setup.+ The name of this machine, to name the key it creates. If you integrate with AI, your file paths and the files the AI opens.
What never leaves− The values in your .env* and any secret.− Your .git folder, node_modules and anything outside this project.
What it does without askingInstall the Cord packages, create or adjust the integration files and save your test key in a .env that git ignores.
What it never doesRun a command outside its list: it only installs Cord packages and runs your build, lint and test scripts.
Your real account doesn't change: the setup stays a proposal until you approve it at cordhq.app.

Version 2.1 also includes an AI that adapts the integration to how your project is built, with tools that stay inside the project folder and a closed list of commands. We haven’t turned it on yet: we will once our Artificial Intelligence Disclosure covers the AI reading the code of whoever is integrating. In the meantime, the wizard integrates with tested templates, and you don’t have to do anything differently.
Connect the apps you already use
If your project already works with HubSpot, Shopify or Slack, the wizard spots it in the project’s dependencies and offers to connect them to Cord. Each one connects in your browser, with its own authorization, and the screen checks it off on its own when you’re done. It also recognizes QuickBooks Online, Xero, Google Sheets and Microsoft Teams.

What you get with each one: with HubSpot, your clients and quotes also live as Deals; with Shopify, your catalog, your clients and your orders; with Slack, a notification in your channel when a client approves or pays.
Your AI agents, connected to Cord
At the end, the wizard offers to set up Cord in your team’s AI agents: Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. With that, your agent can look up quotes, clients and payments and prepare drafts. Anything that sends, charges or changes a client is approved by you in Cord, never by the agent.

You check your team’s agents and the wizard sets up Cord in each one, without storing any API key.
If you prefer Claude or ChatGPT, Cord is added as a custom connector. We explain why we connected Cord to AI agents in this article about MCP.
Test without waiting for a client
To see the integration working, you don’t need a client to approve a quote. The wizard leaves your server receiving test notifications, and with one command you trigger the same notification Cord would send when a client approves or pays.

Frequently asked questions
Who runs the wizard?
Whoever maintains your site, whether that's your team or your agency: they run it in the project folder with Node 22 or later. The wizard installs what's needed, creates the files and leaves a report of what changed.
Can it change my real account?
No. The terminal works with test keys. If you give it your website and tell it what your business does, Cord proposes your setup, and that proposal isn't applied until you approve it at cordhq.app.
What technologies does it work with?
Next.js (App Router and Pages Router), Astro, Express, Laravel, Django, Flask and FastAPI. If it doesn't recognize the framework in the folder, it lets you choose it.
What happens to my passwords and keys?
The values in your .env files never leave your computer. The wizard only writes the project's test key to an environment file that git ignores, and it doesn't touch any other lines.
Does it cost anything?
The CLI is free and installs from npm. The project key it creates counts as one of the API keys on your plan.
