SSO (Single Sign-On) Configuration

Delegate Cord authentication to your enterprise identity provider (Okta, Google Workspace, Azure AD).

Enterprise Security

As organizations grow, managing users and passwords individually becomes an unmanageable risk. Cord supports world-class integrations using SSO (SAML).

By enabling SSO in your Cord organization:

  • Your employees log in automatically if they are already authenticated in their corporate work portal.
  • Any strict MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) policies you configure in your identity provider (Okta) are mandatorily enforced before Cord grants access.
  • When an employee leaves the company, the IT department only needs to disable their central corporate account, and they automatically lose access to Cord’s sensitive financial data.

Prerequisites

  1. Your organization must be subscribed to a Cord Enterprise Plan (this feature is not available on introductory tiers).
  2. You must have the Administrator role in Cord (or explicit ajustes and equipo permissions).
  3. You must have Administrator privileges in your Identity Provider.

SAML Configuration Steps

Configuration requires a two-way exchange between Cord and your Identity Provider.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security > SSO.
  2. Copy the ACS URL (Assertion Consumer Service) and the Entity ID that Cord has generated for your organization.
  3. Enter this data when creating the new SAML application in Okta, Azure AD, or your provider of choice.
  4. Once the application is created in your provider, you will receive an IdP login URL and an X.509 Certificate.
  5. Paste the login URL and upload the X.509 certificate to the Cord configuration.

Important: Test the integration with a single user before forcing it on the entire team, otherwise you could lock out your entire staff if the configuration has mapping errors.
