WITH YOUR CHANNEL'S FLOW

Microsoft retired the old connectors. Cord uses the current path.

Office 365 Incoming Webhooks are retired, so the URL Cord needs comes from a Power Automate flow on the channel: the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template. You paste that URL in Cord, press Send test and a sample card appears in the channel.

EACH CHANNEL SEPARATELY

Some events to Teams, others to email or Slack.

In Settings › Notifications you tick the Teams column on the events you want: quote viewed, approved, rejected, paid, expiring and payment overdue. Each channel is ticked separately. With the Send a Teams message action in Cord Workflows you post your own text with event data.

How to connect Microsoft Teams

    Create the flow in Teams

    In the channel, open Workflows from the three-dot menu and use the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template. Pick the team and the channel.

    Copy the flow URL

    When the wizard finishes, copy the flow URL; it starts with https://prod- and ends in logic.azure.com.

    Paste it in Cord

    In Settings › Integrations › Microsoft Teams paste the URL, save and press Send test.

    Choose the alerts

    In Settings › Notifications tick the Teams column on the events you want.

  • Today the connection uses a Power Automate flow URL; connecting with your Microsoft account and picking the team and channel from Cord is not available yet.
  • If the flow is turned off or deleted in Teams, Cord cannot post until you turn it on or paste a new URL.

Microsoft Teams and Cord, answered

Because Microsoft retired the old Teams connectors (Office 365 Incoming Webhooks). The current URL for posting to a channel is a Power Automate flow's, and that is what Cord uses.

Quote viewed, approved, rejected, paid, expiring and payment overdue. You tick them in Settings › Notifications, separately from Slack and email.

Yes, with the Send a Teams message action in Cord Workflows, using event data such as {{client}}, {{folio}} or {{total}}. It posts even with Notifications alerts turned off.

Usually the flow was turned off or deleted in Teams. Open it in Workflows and turn it on, or create another and paste the new URL in Cord.
