From folio to the SII's verdict
Cord takes the folio, stamps, signs, uploads the document to the SII and checks its verdict, with no provider in between. The business uploads its folio files (CAF) and its certificate; Cord makes sure a used folio is never used again.
What it covers
- Electronic invoice (33), exempt invoice (34), debit note (56) and credit note (61).
- Folios under control: each CAF is validated against the business's RUT and stored encrypted; Cord warns when few are left or they're about to expire.
- Electronic stamp and assignable copy: the PDF carries the SII box, the PDF417 stamp and, on invoices, the assignable copy with the Law 19.983 receipt acknowledgment. It was reviewed against the SII's printed samples manual.
- Document-level VAT, as the SII format defines it, across the account.
- A verdict without duplicates: if the SII doesn't answer right away, Cord keeps the submission number and checks later; it only resends the same file when the SII said it never received it.
- SII certification from Settings: the test set with its sales and purchase ledgers, simulation, information exchange and printed samples.
- Exchange with suppliers: a dedicated mailbox receives the documents issued to you, validates them, replies to the issuer and records acceptance or a claim with the SII within its 8 days.
Why it is in beta
The SII's official examples are reproduced and every submission is validated against its schemas, but getting a token and uploading a document with a certificate registered with the SII and a real CAF is still pending. Each business must also complete its certification as an issuer with the SII.
How it works
The business registers its certificate with the SII, applies as an issuer and uploads its folios.
It completes the SII certification from Settings: test set, ledgers, exchange and printed samples.
With the resolution, it issues: Cord stamps, sends, checks the verdict and prints the document with its assignable copy.
Availability and scope
Businesses in Chile on Starter or higher, certified as issuers with the SII. Each accepted document counts toward the tax-compliant invoice allowance; certification documents don't.
Clear limits
It doesn't issue receipts, export invoices, dispatch guides, purchase invoices or fee receipts, nor documents with withholdings: they are rejected before a folio is taken. Amounts are in Chilean pesos.
