Your Cord invoices in Xero, without typing them twice.

Every final invoice enters your accounting with its customer, lines and currency, as a draft for your accountant to approve. Stop reconciling at month end what was already in two places.

NO DUPLICATES

An invoice is recorded only once.

Cord remembers which invoice was recorded in your accounting and does not repeat it, even if the event is retried. The customer is looked up by email first so your list does not fill with duplicates, and the link is remembered for later invoices.

  • Only final invoices, never quotes or Cord drafts
  • The negotiated price with its discount applied
  • Each amount computed on the already-rounded price, so it matches to the cent

HOW IT ARRIVES

As a draft, and you approve it.

An outside system should not post to anyone's books on its own: the invoice arrives as a draft with the Cord number as its reference, and your accountant reviews it before approving. Each line enters with the tax rate in your Xero that matches Cord's, and with the tax Cord already computed.

  • Sales invoice in draft status
  • The Cord number as the reference
  • Access to invoices and contacts, plus read access to your tax rates

NO SURPRISES

What it doesn't do yet

We'd rather you read it here than find out halfway through.

  • Xero only accepts payments on approved invoices: while the invoice is still a draft, the payment waits.
  • Each line enters with the tax rate in your accounting that matches Cord's. If that rate does not exist there, or the invoice has withholdings, it is not sent and Settings tells you why.
  • Invoices and customers go from Cord to your accounting; only the payments you record there come back, once a day or when you click Send pending invoices.

QUESTIONS

Xero and Cord

No. Cord remembers every recorded invoice and never sends it again.

Cord starts from scratch with it instead of reusing the previous links.
