Pay without typing the card

With the card already saved on the phone, paying doesn't require typing the number. With Apple Pay and Google Pay, your customer confirms with their fingerprint or face and the card they already have saved.

What's included

  • On all three payment screens: the quote's payment page, the invoice link and the customer portal.
  • Nothing extra to set up: they come with the card in Settings › Payments › Payment methods.
  • Charged as a card: same fee, same confirmation and same refunds.
  • On your own domain too: on the quote and invoice served from your domain, once custom domains are switched on (from the Professional plan).

Why it is in beta

The code is built and turned off. The payment method settings of the payment accounts still need to be reviewed, it needs to be tested on a real iPhone and Android in test mode, and the payment domains of existing accounts need to be registered. Until then, your customers don't see it.

How it works

  1. The business accepts cards in Settings › Payments › Payment methods.

  2. Cord registers the payment domain on its payment account.

  3. The customer sees Apple Pay or Google Pay next to the card if their device has them, and pays with one tap.

Availability and scope

Quote payment page, invoice link and customer portal, on cordhq.app and on the business's own domain.

Clear limits

Only where the business accepts cards through Cord Payments and on compatible devices. It doesn't apply to Mercado Pago or to the Cord subscription. Inside an embed, payment opens in a Cord window.
