From agreement to money, without switching systems
Cord Payments connects the moment a sale is approved with the moment funds reach your account. The client pays from the quote or invoice link; Cord keeps the payment state next to the document that created it.
This is not a wallet where Cord holds your funds. The payment account belongs to your business and charges are processed on that connected account. Before enabling it, Cord collects the information and documents the provider requires to verify the company, its representatives, and its beneficial owners.
Available capabilities:
- Card payments from the public link: the buyer pays the outstanding amount without requesting another link or entering a separate portal.
- SPEI for Mexico: when the transaction is denominated in MXN, Cord can show a bank account number tied to the charge and reconcile the transfer when it arrives.
- Deposit, balance, and installments: every part keeps its amount, status, and reference, and the quote becomes paid only when no balance remains.
- Payable invoices: Cord Invoicing documents also have a public link with the current balance and the method available to that account.
- Payouts and reconciliation: the business can review payouts sent to its bank account, their status, and the configured schedule.
- After-payment operations: refunds, disputes, and evidence remain tied to the organization and the movement that created them.
Actual availability
Online payment onboarding depends on the organization's country and on the requirements returned by the provider. Mexico, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France have a connected-account rail. Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Peru can quote, invoice, and record manual payments, but do not currently see Cord Payments onboarding.
SPEI is a Mexican rail and settles only MXN. Outside Mexico, Cord does not show that method or apply a Mexican fee to another currency.
How it works
Complete onboarding for the company, representatives, and owners required by the provider.
Enable methods available for the country and accept the applicable fee when one exists.
Collect from the link and review movements, payouts, refunds, or disputes in Cord.
Availability and scope
Cards in MX, US, CA, BR, ES, GB, DE, and FR. SPEI only for MXN transactions on Mexican accounts.
Clear limits
CO, AR, CL, and PE remain on manual payments. Platform fees outside MXN are not invented: until a verified schedule exists, Cord does not apply a regional fee.
