Trade credit, under control
Selling on credit is standard, but keeping track of that risk usually means sales and finance messaging each other all day. Cord puts it in plain sight on every client profile.
Key benefits:
- A credit limit per client: you decide how much credit each client gets, and their profile compares the open balance against that limit live, with a warning as soon as it's exceeded. Whether to keep selling is your call: Cord doesn't block the quote.
- From cash to Net 90: each client has default payment terms and each quote can set its own; on approval, Cord calculates the due date and the receivable joins your collections with that date.
- Collections, connected: once overdue, the receivable shows up in Collections and, if you enable it, in the AI collections agent's reminders.
- Client profile: live credit usage, real close rate, and the discount given in negotiation, at a glance.
How it works
Set the credit limit and terms on the client profile.
The profile compares the open balance with the limit live and warns when it's exceeded.
On approval, Cord calculates the due date and the receivable joins collections.
Availability and scope
Commercial credit per client: terms from cash to Net 90, open balance against the limit, and a warning when it's exceeded.
Clear limits
The limit is a warning, not a block: Cord doesn't stop you from quoting a client who is over it. It doesn't run an external credit-bureau check or decide a client's solvency on its own.
