The reminder lands in the chat your client actually opens.

With your WhatsApp Business account, your workflows send each client your approved template: the quote about to expire, the invoice due today or the payment link. Messages go out from your number.

Included in every Cord plan; Meta bills each conversation to your account

WITH YOUR APPROVED TEMPLATE

Cord does not offer you a field Meta will reject.

Meta does not allow starting a conversation with free text, only with an approved template. That is why the Send the client a WhatsApp action uses your template name and fills its variables with event data —{{client}}, {{folio}}, {{total}}, {{due}}— instead of offering a free message that would never be sent.

  • Your template, its language and its variables
  • Event data in every variable
  • Test with your own number from Settings

ALWAYS THE RIGHT CLIENT

The phone comes from the client, not from a step field.

The message goes to the document client's phone and requires a country code: the same number exists in several countries and Cord does not guess which. The Meta token is stored encrypted and never shown again, and workflows send up to 60 WhatsApp messages per hour per account.

  • Country code required, no guessing
  • Encrypted token that is never shown again
  • A cap of 60 messages per hour per account

NO SURPRISES

What it does not do yet

We would rather you read it here than find it out halfway through.

  • You connect by pasting the phone number ID and a Meta token; connecting with a button is not available yet.
  • Meta only allows starting the conversation with an approved template, not free text.
  • Meta bills the cost per conversation to your account and it depends on the country.
  • A client without a phone with country code does not get the message.

QUESTIONS

WhatsApp Business and Cord, answered

From yours. Cord sends WhatsApp with Meta's Cloud API and your WhatsApp Business account, and Meta bills the cost per conversation to your account, not Cord.

Because Meta does not allow starting a conversation with free text, only with an approved template. Cord uses your template and fills its variables with event data; a free field would promise something Meta rejects.

The phone of the document's client, saved with a country code. Without a country code the message is not sent: Cord does not guess the country, because the same number exists in several.

Workflows send up to 60 WhatsApp messages per hour per account, and the test in Settings up to 5 per hour.
