Let the close trigger the rest of the work
Cord Workflows turns what happens in a sale into the next step, without writing code, and the integrations directory connects Cord with the tools your team already uses.
What's included:
- Workflows with conditions and waits: pick a Cord event, set visible conditions and chain steps. For example: three days after sending a quote, if it is still unopened, create a task to call the client.
- Time triggers: besides the event, a fixed schedule ("every Monday at 9", in your account's time zone) and due-date anchors that warn you before the date, not only once it has passed.
- Wait until it happens: the workflow waits for the client to open or pay, with a time limit, and continues down one branch or the other depending on what happens.
- Lookups before deciding: overdue receivables, open pipeline, what was collected in the period, or the client's balance, to use that number in the message or in the condition.
- Test without publishing: run the draft with your latest real event and see which steps would be met and with what exact text, without sending anything.
- Your business data in any text: the business name, its email, phone, currency and today's date in your time zone, without typing them into every workflow.
- Health panel: runs, failures and the most frequent causes over the last 30 days, grouped by reason rather than by free text.
- Real actions: create a task, email your team, email the client with your branding, expire a quote, void an invoice, send the data to a URL, post to Slack or Teams, or add a note to the HubSpot Deal.
- History for every run: what fired, when, with what result, and a readable error when something fails. A failed step is retried; delivery is at least once.
- HubSpot both ways: your clients stay in sync with Companies and Contacts, and every quote creates and moves its Deal through the pipeline. Moving a Deal in HubSpot changes nothing in Cord.
- Google Sheets and Excel: every quote and every invoice as a row in your spreadsheet, kept current on its own: number, client, status, dates, currency and amounts as numbers you can actually sum. Cord creates the file and can only open that one, so it never sees the rest of your Drive or OneDrive.
- Shopify both ways: your store's catalog and customers flow into Cord so you can quote wholesale with real prices and SKUs, and when the quote is approved or paid, the order is created in your store so fulfillment and inventory stay where they already live, in the quote's currency if your store accepts it. Orders start off: you turn them on.
- QuickBooks Online and Xero: every final invoice enters your accounting with its customer, lines and currency, never duplicated: recorded in QuickBooks and as a draft in Xero for your accountant to approve.
- Gmail: quotes, invoices and payment reminders go out from your own address, and the Cord add-on for Gmail shows the thread's quote live, replies with it in the same thread and builds the quote with AI from the order in the email.
- Cord apps on Zapier and Make, without keys: connect with one click on a Cord screen, with instant triggers, actions and searches. Each connection can be revoked from Settings.
- Slack with Add to Slack and Teams with your Microsoft account: pick the channel and you are done, with no URLs to copy. WhatsApp messages the client with your Meta-approved template.
- Cord node for n8n: install it from Community Nodes as n8n-nodes-cord on self-hosted n8n, with a trigger that registers its webhook and verifies the signature.
- The top bar shows your connected apps: the logos of the ones you use and quick access to the rest, without leaving the screen.
- For developers: public API v1, signed webhooks with delivery history, and an MCP server.
What's next:
- Local accounting: Alegra (Mexico, Colombia and Peru), Holded (Spain) and Siigo (Colombia).
- Payments into your accounting: the payment should reach QuickBooks and Xero too, not only the invoice.
- The Gmail add-on on Google Workspace Marketplace, to install it with one click from Gmail.
- Google Calendar and Google Drive: follow-ups scheduled when a quote is about to expire, and each invoice PDF in a folder in your Drive.
- n8n Cloud: the node was submitted to n8n's verification on September 21, 2026; it appears in n8n Cloud once n8n approves it.
- WhatsApp with a button: connect the number without going through Meta's console, once Meta approves Cord as a provider.
- Public directories: Cord in Zapier's search, Make's catalog, and the Slack app directory.
How it works
Pick the Cord event that starts the workflow and set visible conditions.
Chain actions — task, team email, Slack or a HubSpot note — and publish when ready.
Review every run, its result, and the readable error when a step fails.
Availability and scope
Workflows on Cord events and on a fixed schedule, with lookups, conditional waits and a test run before publishing; an integrations directory with HubSpot, Shopify, Gmail, Google Sheets, Excel, QuickBooks, Xero, Slack, Teams and WhatsApp; Zapier and Make apps and an n8n node; and the developer platform: API v1, signed webhooks and MCP.
Clear limits
A workflow never charges or records payments: those stay human decisions; it can invoice an approved or paid quote, once per quote. When it writes to the client, it does so with your branding or, on WhatsApp, with your Meta-approved template. Waits are counted in days or hours, business days only if you want, and delivery is at least once, so every step stays in the history.
