What's left in Chile
The SII's electronic tax documents are built and in beta for invoices and notes. What comes next:
- Dispatch guide (52) and its ledger, which the certification test set asks for if the business applied for them.
- Export invoice and its notes (110, 111 and 112), in other currencies.
- Purchase invoice (46) as an issued document.
- Electronic receipt (boleta, 39 and 41) for customers without a RUT.
- Fee receipt (boleta de honorarios) and its withholding.
What blocks it
It's Cord's work. Each document is built against the SII format and tested in its certification environment before it's offered; meanwhile Settings says so and the document is rejected before a folio is taken, so none is wasted. We will also assess whether Cord can register with the SII as certified market software, to simplify each business's certification.
How it works
The business uploads the folios for the new document type.
Cord builds, stamps and sends the document like invoices, and includes it in the certification if the business applied for it.
The PDF follows the SII's printed samples manual.
Availability and scope
Businesses in Chile with the SII documents active.
Clear limits
Meanwhile, a sale that needs one of these documents (customer without a RUT, foreign customer, withholding) is rejected before a folio is taken.
