Cord controls access through granular permissions, not just a fixed role: each member gets access to specific sections of the app (quotes, collections, clients, products, analytics, settings, payment configuration, refunds, team).
Inviting your team
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Click Add member.
- Enter their email and choose a starting role (or customize the permissions right there).
- The person receives an invitation link, valid for 7 days, to join the workspace.
Inviting additional members requires the Professional plan or higher: Free and Starter are single-user. Seat limits per plan are 5 on Professional, 15 on Scale, and unlimited on Developer; if your account is already at the limit, the invite button tells you before you try.
Available roles
Roles are starting points; the owner can fine-tune any member’s permissions section by section after inviting them.
- Super admin (Owner): the account’s owner. Unrestricted access, including subscription billing and deleting the organization. There’s only one per organization, and their permissions can’t be edited.
- Admin: almost full control, including managing the team. It’s the only starting role that’s missing one permission: it cannot request refunds on reconciled payments.
- Rep (Vendedor): quotes and manages clients and products, and sees analytics. Doesn’t access Settings, can’t approve discounts, and can’t see payment configuration.
- Read only: can view the app but can’t change anything in any section.
- Custom: when you edit a member’s permissions beyond their preset, the role becomes “Custom” and keeps exactly the combination of sections you checked.
Any member other than the owner can have full access to the sections their role or custom configuration grants — including Collections, Settings, or Team — but can never change the owner’s permissions or remove them.
