Cord is a freemium SaaS: you pay a monthly fee to use the platform. Payments handled by Cord Payments have a separate method-specific fee that is shown and accepted before activation.
The plans
Your currency follows your business’s country: Mexico is billed in pesos (MXN), everywhere else in US dollars (USD). That’s the currency of your Cord subscription, not of your sales — you can still quote your own clients in any currency you want.

What you see is what you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Annual billing gives you 2 months free (you pay for 10).
Changing plans
- Go to Settings > Plans & subscription > Subscription (
/app/ajustes/plan). - Pick the plan and cycle (monthly or annual). The secure billing checkout opens.
- The change applies immediately; your included quota adjusts to the new plan.
To change your card, view receipts, update your billing details, or cancel, go to billing.cordhq.app, your billing portal. You get there from Settings > Plans & subscription with the session you already have. If your business is in Mexico, you can also issue the CFDI for each subscription payment there.
Overages (usage-based)
Each paid plan includes a monthly quota of AI, CFDI, API, and users. If you exceed it, from the Professional plan onward the overage is billed by usage (e.g. extra CFDI per stamp, extra AI per use) at the end of the period. Free and Starter plans have hard caps instead of overage. You can see your monthly usage on the same Subscription screen.
