To allow your clients to pay your quotes directly from the public link, you need to activate online payments. Cord integrates with Stripe Connect to process these payments, meaning the money goes directly to your bank account and Cord charges 0% commission.

Steps to activate payments

1. In Cord, go to Settings › Payments (Ajustes › Cobros).
2. You will see the Online Payments panel. Complete the embedded form (Stripe Onboarding) with your business details, legal representative, and the bank account where you wish to receive the funds.
3. Once completed, Stripe will verify your information (KYC). This process is usually quick.
4. When the status changes to “Payments active” (Cobros activos), your clients will see the pay button on your quotes.

Available payment methods

Once your account is active, you can enable or disable these methods from the same Settings screen:

• Credit and debit card: Processed instantly (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
• Automatic SPEI transfer: Stripe generates a unique CLABE for each quote. When the client transfers, the quote is automatically marked as paid.
• Manual bank transfer: Shows your regular CLABE. You must manually confirm when you receive the payment. (This method does not require Stripe).

Fees and payout times

• Cord charges zero commission for processing your payments. You only assume Stripe’s standard processing fees.
• Payout times depend entirely on Stripe and your history with them. Generally, funds are automatically transferred to your bank in a couple of business days.
